riginally featured in our El Patio Summer curation, El Olivo was chosen to accompany La Jarra, the kind of long wooden spoon you reach for to stir fresh lemonade, iced tea, agua fresca, or a pitcher of your favorite summer drink before bringing it to the table.
Each spoon is hand-carved by artisans in Kenya using traditional carving techniques passed down through generations. The natural olive wood gives every piece its own grain, tone, and character, so no two spoons will look exactly alike.
At approximately 9 inches long, its slender handle reaches easily into taller glasses and pitchers, while the small scoop makes it just as useful behind the bar for mixing cocktails.
Simple. Useful. Beautiful enough to leave out.
